Wine glass, brass, steel, wood, found and handmade clock parts – 2007

This piece pays homage to the original function of a clock. Since the first mechanical clocks were located centrally in town, they relied on sound (in the form of a bell) to indicate time to the surrounding people. This version strikes a wine glass causing it to ring out while swaying back and forth.
